Reflecting on National Apprenticeship Week 2025

As National Apprenticeship Week 2025 draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on an incredible week filled with insightful discussions, inspiring journeys and meaningful connections.

We were privileged to host closed webinars for a large multinational organisation, providing key insights into the benefits of apprenticeships. In addition, we attended several thought-provoking sessions hosted by local authorities, gaining valuable perspectives on the future of apprenticeships.

The highlight of our week was undoubtedly the fantastic event held on Friday in partnership with Southend-on-Sea City Council and The Greater Essex Careers Hub at The Cliffs Pavilion. We were joined by some brilliant speakers who shared their experiences, wisdom and enthusiasm for apprenticeships. We truly hope that everyone who attended left with a greater understanding of how apprenticeships can benefit both businesses and employees.

A personal highlight for me was hearing Rosanna share her incredible journey - from starting out as a Level 3 Business Admin Apprenticeship, successfully completing both Level 4 and 5 Apprenticeships, to now being just about to finish a Level 7 Senior People Professional Degree, all while working and being fully funded through the Apprenticeship Levy. Stories like hers are a testament to the life-changing opportunities apprenticeships provide.

Beyond the events, this week has been an invaluable opportunity to forge new connections and we are excited to develop these into lasting relationships.

With National Apprenticeship Week behind us, we now turn our attention to Learning at Work Week, taking place from 12th to 18th May. This year’s theme is 'Get Connected' - a perfect follow-up to the partnerships and networks we've been building.
If you’d like to plan an event, hold a webinar or have us visit to help your staff ‘Get Connected’, please do get in touch.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this week such a success. Here’s to continuing the conversation and championing apprenticeships all year round!
