Break Into AI with SEATS – Fully Funded Opportunities Available

At SEATS, we know cost is often the biggest barrier to skills and career progression. That’s why we’re excited to share that one of our learners recently accessed a City & Guilds bursary to take our AI Governance short course. For them, the funding opened the door to skills that will shape the future of work.

Our AI Short Courses

SEATS offers a suite of 15-hour online AI courses in partnership with a specialist AI provider. Learners study entirely online at their own pace, supported through a dedicated learning management system. On successful completion, they earn a City & Guilds certificate and a digital badge – perfect for LinkedIn or email signatures.

Currently, these are the only AI short courses available with City & Guilds assurance and certification, making them a unique and valuable addition to your professional profile.

• AI Governance (15 hrs) – Using the CLEARVIEW Framework, this course equips leaders and teams with a strategic approach to safe, ethical and transparent AI adoption.
• Prompt Engineering with the CLEAR Model (15 hrs) – A practical framework to optimise AI interactions, ideal for technical fields like engineering, logistics and digital design.

Whether you’re an individual boosting your skills, a board member wanting strategic insight or an employer looking to upskill staff, our AI courses are a flexible and economical way to get started.

How City & Guilds Bursaries Work

City & Guilds have been running their bursary programme for over 20 years, supporting people in genuine financial need to access training. Bursaries can cover the full cost of training programmes (up to £6,000), along with tools or learning materials. In some cases, they can even support travel or childcare costs.

To be eligible, learners must:

• Be 18 or over
• Live in the UK and want to study here
• Not yet have started their course
• Be in genuine financial need (meaning the course wouldn’t otherwise be affordable, and other funding options have already been explored)
